Parish Finance Council is established to assist, in accordance with the law, the Parish Priest in the administration of the temporal goods of the Parish. The Parish Finance Council not only has the right to express its views and the duty to support the Parish Priest, but also lessens the burden of the Parish Priest in administering Parish finances, in maintaining Parish properties, in planning for future capital works, in raising the necessary finances and in establishing a framework for greater shared responsibility within Parish life. Membership is by appointment.
